Traces Of The Real

This is the brilliant Tieranniesaur playing at the Alliance benefit gig last night. I had a busy night. First off I was up in Collins Barracks photographing the big Macnas show for Absolut Fringe (more on this soon). Then I pegged it over to Whelans to catch the second half of the all-day gig that Leagues O’Toole organised to raise money for Concern.

I didn’t have much film left so I was only able to shoot two bands. The first one was Tieranniesaur and the picture above is an exposure of roughly five minutes covering two songs in their set. It’s impossible not to like this band. The song below is the first one on their recently released album and is called Rockblocker. I often listen to this in the car when driving my daughter somewhere and have to try and remember to cough loudly over the “Fuck you and the whores you rode in on” line. Go on and give it a listen .. I defy you not to like it.
