This is the Spook Of The Thirteenth Lock playing in the Unitarian Church in Dublin a few weeks back. They are easily my most photographed band at this stage. Even though I do like them, this isn’t entirely intentional. Wherever I go with my camera, they seem to just be there. This particular gig was organised by the excellent Young Hearts Run Free collective and also featured Mossy Nolan, Margie Lewis and The Pictish Trail.
There hasn’t been much going on with this blog recently but that’s because I haven’t been out photographing very much. The reason for this is that I have been preoccupied with doing my MA and in particular, with getting started on writing a dissertation which, at the moment, is tentatively titled Photography And The Non-Human. I may post up pieces of this as I go along. In the meantime here’s a really nice video that my mate Ian Lawton made for the Spook a while back.
